The Washington Historical Society has developed two resources for use in the community. The resources include guides with suggested discussions, activities, and work sheets. They also contain background information as well as numerous objects, photographs, and other images to aid in teaching these subjects. As much as possible, the resources are designed to fit into the school's educational requirements.

Reserve the Trunk or Basket for your Class or Group Today! The Trunk or Basket will be lent out for a total of ten days, beginning on a Wednesday and ending on a Friday. This allows teachers or group leaders time to look over and plan how they want to use the resources. There can be some flexibility to this arrangement. These resources are divided into five days of material and activities. If you are interested in using one of the resources, please contact the Museum at 636-239-0280. Availability is limited, so reserve well in advance. The Historic Characters can be scheduled through the Museum at the same number. Traveling Trunk
