Volume 3 in the Washington History Series
Born in Washington, Missouri in 1909, Ralph Gregory studied and wrote about history for over 60 years. He also found time to successfully engage in a number of other endeavors: shoe worker, farmer, radio engineer, businessman, author, newspaper contributor, museum curator, WWII veteran and former prisoner of war. Largely a self-taught scholar, he left a "trail well-marked." "Ralph" is synonymous with Missouri history and preservation.
